This incident resulted in the partial shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests follow a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the those hurt during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault near the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Police were called at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals hurt by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - which police said was isolated and not considered an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
